I love being in school, when I am at home I teach my mother English as well. My mother is illiterate, but knowing that this is changing with my generation makes her very proud. I want to become a doctor in the future and provide health care to my community.

Thanks to your 705 sponsors we have 497 sponsored children: they are divided over Kampala (251 kids) and Jinja (246 kids). In addition we have now 39 Alumni who graduated from school. We stick to calling the children by their first names, leaving out the last names. Usually, they sport a cool Ugandan name alongside a trendy Western one. ♥

From 2023 to 2024, 28 kids transitioned to Secondary School and 90 primary school kids required Boarding facilities. We prioritize quality over quantity when it comes to a child's education. It’s crucial for us that a child completes higher education. To ensure a successful educational path for children, we have initiated Co-Sponsorships. Hence why the number of kids did not increase, but the number of Sponsors has risen over the years. We also launched additional programs that benefit both the children and their community. Depending on current needs, we occasionally prefer to attract new donors to support these programs, instead of solely focusing on enrolling more children/sponsors. This way, we ensure the continued well-being of our current children. ♥
