We send back the kids reply with a picture once a quarter. (Due to some kids being in boarding school)
Donate for a gift
You can send any time a year something extra to your child. For example, when it is their birthday, they had a good school report or just to give them some extra food and help. You can donate any amount you like, and write in your comment the name and number of your child. We will then make sure that your child gets what they need most (our project manager will assess this together with their family). Besides making a one time donation; consider signing up for a recurring donation, which we will use for extra meals for your child (or whatever they need most).
Send a letter
Write in a Word document at the top of the page the number and name of your child (written in your Welcome Certificate and our email communications). Write then your message in English (you can also insert pictures). Save the document with the number and name of the child and email us the document (maximum 2 pages).
Please note, the exchange rate for 1.- euro fluctuates between 4400,-UGX - 3650,-UGX. Also prices of products and food go by times up by 20% in Uganda. Hence what we can buy with 1,-euro depends on the current situation.
You have donated for a gift?
Once a month we buy gifts - according to their needs - for children who received an extra donation.
We will take thank you pictures of the kids with their gifts. Most of the time children need extra clothes, food for their family and basic things such as mattresses, shoes, and so on. With a larger donation we also give their parents/caretakers a small business boost, to help them become self-sustainable. After handing out the gifts we organise the pictures and send you per email the picture of your child and let you know what they received. We send out the Gift Pictures once a quarter, since some kids are in boarding school, so please be patient with us. Below are some of our recent pictures. Please note, for Christmas we launch each year a campaign to give presents to all children.

Once a month we check how many letters we received for the children and we print them out.
The kids love to handwrite a response or make a drawing depending on their age, which we will photograph. We then organize the pictures and send you per email the picture of your child and their response. We send out the Letter Pictures once a quarter, since some kids are in boarding school, so please be patient with us. Below are some of our recent pictures to give you an idea.
