    Thanks to your 825 sponsors we have 528 sponsored children: they are divided over Kampala (267 kids) and Jinja (261 kids). In addition we have now 41 Alumni who graduated from school. We stick to calling the children by their first names, leaving out the last names. Usually, they sport a cool Ugandan name alongside a trendy Western one. ♥

    Send something extra to your sponsored child at any time of the year, whether for a birthday, a great school report or simply for extra food and support. Three times a year, during the school holidays, our project leaders assess what each child needs and purchase the gifts in bulk. This helps us save on transport and secure better prices. Choose a one time gift or recurring donation for ongoing extra support.

    Make It Personal.

    Send a letter

    A few words can mean a lot. Write your child a personal message in English and add photos if you like. Create your letter as a Word document of maximum 2 pages and include your child’s name and number at the top. You can find these on your Welcome Certificate and in our emails. Save the document with your child’s name and number and email it to us. Three times a year, during the school holidays, we print and personally deliver the letters in Uganda, giving your child the opportunity to write or draw something back.
